We have an excellent opportunity for a Plant Attendant in Troutville, VA.
The primary function of this position is to perform a variety of duties including:
physical labor, operating heavy equipment and mechanical repair work.

Required Skills:
Promote a Safety First mentality.
Operate heavy industrial equipment as required.
Performing general labor in many variations.
Meet daily production schedule, document system performance as well as identify and troubleshoot problem areas and/or breakdowns of equipment.
Provide feedback on process and safety improvements.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the Preventative Maintenance Program, Maintenance Coordinator and plant management.
Required
Experience:
Maintain ongoing communication with the Production Supervisor and other operators.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree in related field preferred.

years of experience in operating industrial equipment required.
Electricians' Card preferred.
Ability to read, interpret and comprehend technical manuals and information.
Proven attention to detail.
Skill to troubleshoot equipment with strong mechanical ability.
Ability to work rotating shifts; inclusive of weekends and holidays as required.
Physical job requirements include working outdoors with exposure to heat and cold, constant standing and walking, climbing, working from heights as well as lifting up to 100 pounds.
